Friday blog roundup

It’s been an interesting week in the travel blogosphere.

We have Starwood hotels allegedly running brothels, and the found out that the option to add extra pages to U.S. passports will end in 2016.

Delta continues to gut its frequent flyer benefits with abandon, axing round-the-world award tickets and reducing medallion upgrade benefits…. oh and apparently increasing the spending requirements for elite status in 2015.

Point Princess posted a good tip about using in-flight WiFi for free for some things…mostly Google and airline apps.

FrequentMiler is trying out the new Target RedCard from Amex. It looks like this could be a new avenue for manufactured spending.

I’m off to California to see an old friend in a few hours. Have a happy weekend, everyone!
